The Curious Case of How Did College Students Write Papers in the 60s Forum

The Curious Case of How Did College Students Write Papers in the 60s ForumI'm having a little trouble with how did college students write papers in the 60s. I've found it so interesting to talk to people, that I keep wondering about how they did it back then. Have you ever thought about this? When it's time to sit down and write a paper, do we still think about what we're going to say in our papers or how we're going to say it? As far as I can tell, the two things are separate and more important in some respects than others. One of the most important aspects of writing a paper is the use of the right words. It's about language, not just about grammar. The right use of language can greatly influence how the student writes the paper. So, maybe now is a good time to go to the word processor and correct that grammar.I must also note, for the record, that when we're talking about grammar, one should never feel like one's using the wrong words at the wrong time. That's often an excuse used b y people who aren't used to speaking well. But I think we all know that not all writing happens in that way. Sometimes, a student will read something in a book and he or she is having trouble figuring out what was written there. That's why I've always thought that the two most important things a student has to do when writing papers, is understand the subject matter and practice, and repeat. If a student has trouble with either of those things, then the paper is probably not going to be as effective as it could be. That's not to say that practice makes perfect. But it does help a lot, I believe, when people take breaks from their work and really sit down and think about what they're doing. Take as much time as they need to do this. When I say take time, I mean that they should spend as much time as they need to do this.By doing this, they're going to be better prepared for the test, but it's also going to give them a feeling of satisfaction in what they've done. Because that kind of sa tisfaction is a very important part of writing a paper.
